The challenge of leading a team is keeping it energized. Not from caffeine, but with frequent doses of inspiration, challenges, and fun.
While you can’t force your team to be energized, you can certainly model this behavior. But modeling is only one-third of the equation.
Another third is making sure the right people are on your team. Choose them wisely; look for that spark.
The remaining third belongs to the team members themselves. For a leader can model the right behaviors, choose the best team members, and still come up short.
You simply cannot force people to be energized; they either possess this ability (and intention) or they don’t. Regardless of who the leader is, all team members are still responsible for their own energy levels and their contribution to the team.

Decisions are choices, and your choices ultimately define who you are.

3 What you give. (At home, at work, in life…)
4 What you take. (At home, at work, in life…)
5 What you are going to do next. (It’s your move.)
